Do you accept group play, tournaments, golf outings, and shotgun starts?

Yes, we do and we have competitive rates as well. Please contact the Golf Shop at 702-951-100, email Jon Spatz: jon@chimeragolfclub.com.

How many tees do you have and how long is the yardage from each?

Do you offer golf lessons?

Yes! Chimera Golf Club is the best place to learn golf in Las Vegas. Please visit our Golf Lessons section to see our options for group and private lessons.

Can non-golfers ride along?

Absolutely! Our non-golfing rider fee is $20.00 when available. We require this fee since riders are taking the place of a golfer, and typically would require us to provide an extra golf cart for your group.

Can we play alone as a twosome?

Chimera Golf Club reserves the right to pair you with other players when course conditions and capacity require it.

Can kids play?

Yes, junior golfers are welcome on our course. In fact, kids play for just $15 after 3pm every day with a paying adult! Golfer’s ages seventeen and younger are considered juniors. Please limit one junior per paying adult. For golf earlier than 3pm, the junior rate is $25 on weekdays. There is no junior rate available on weekends.

Do you have a dress code policy?

Standard Dress Code Policy – Proper golf attire is required at all times for all players and riders to include both collared and/or tailored collarless shirts for men and recognized golf fashion for women. Golf shoes with soft spikes or athletic shoes required. T-shirts, swimwear, tank tops, jeans or cut-offs are not appropriate attire.

Is there a practice range?

Chimera Golf Club has a full grass driving range, as well as artificial mats.  We also have a full practice putting green, and short-game area with sand bunkers. The short game area is free to use if you have your own equipment. The practice range costs $10 per hour for unlimited range balls.

What is your cancellation policy?

Tee Time Reservations must be cancelled no later than 24 hours prior to the day of play. If the reservation is not cancelled by this time, the credit card holder will be responsible for the full greens fees with the credit card being automatically charged.

What is the expected pace of play?

Under normal circumstances, the expected pace of play on Chimera Golf Club is four hours and 30 minutes for 18 holes. Examples of abnormal conditions include days when inclement weather may cause delays, wet conditions may cause golf car restrictions, or a special event is playing the golf course.

Do you allow five-somes?

Groups of more than four players must be approved by the professional staff. Keeping groups to four players or less improves the pace of play and helps keep rounds more enjoyable for all of our customers. We do not allow groups of 6 or more on the golf course at any time.

Do you have rental clubs?

Yes, Chimera Golf Club maintains one of the newest and best fleets of rental clubs in Las Vegas. Our brand new rental fleet for 2016 are Callaway Golf XR Series woods and  irons in both stiff and regular shafts for men and women. Rental sets are $40/set for 18-holes.

Do I need a tee time?

While walk-on players are always welcome, tee times are strongly recommended in order to minimize any inconvenience that waiting to tee off may cause.

Are range balls included in the price?

Yes, a warm up range balls are included in your green fees.

Can I play alone or will I be paired with other players?

Chimera Golf Club reserves the right to pair you with other players when course conditions and capacity require it.

Can I bring an ice chest on the golf course?

Personal coolers are not allowed on the golf course. All food & beverage consumed must be purchased through Chimera Golf Club. We do have coolers that are available for your enjoyment. We recommend filling the cooler with your favorite beverages at the restaurant before you tee off. Beverage carts are also out on the course.

Is golf club sharing permitted?

Due to pace of play concerns all players must have their own bag with their own set of clubs.

What if I have to cancel my tee time or reduce my number of players?

If you have to cancel your tee time or reduce the number of players please call the golf shop directly at 702-951-1500 and we will be happy to assist you with your changes as long as it is within the cancellation policy.

Why do you require a credit card with my tee time reservation?

We do require a credit card for all reservations due to our cancellation policy. If you are unable to make your tee time, call our golf shop directly 24 hours in advance and your card will not be charged.

What are your Hours of Operation?

Slice 19 Bar and Grill is open Daily from 6:00 AM-10:00 PM

Do you serve breakfast?

Yes, we serve breakfast daily from 6:00 AM-11:00 AM

Does Slice 19 have a “Happy Hour”?

Happy hour is offered Daily 4:00 PM-6:00 PM

What are your delivery hours?

Sunday – Thursday  (4:00 PM – 9:00 PM) – Order must be placed by 8:40 PM
Friday (4:00 PM – 10:00 PM) – Order must be placed by 9:40 PM
Saturday (12:00 PM – 10:00 PM) – Order must be placed by 9:40 PM

What areas do you deliver to?

Tuscany Village, Westin Hills, Calico Ridge, Lake Las Vegas and Racetrack Road. There is a $25 minimum order for deliveries with the exception of Tuscany Village.

Is Slice 19 “kid friendly”?

Yes, and our menu offers options just for the kids!

Does Slice 19 offer any gluten free, vegetarian or vegan options?

Yes, we understand that there are many people sensitive to gluten and/or looking for a meatless or vegan option so we have included a portion of our menu just for you!

What is the capacity for the Pavilion?

200 people.

How do I know if my proposed date for the event is available?

Please call 702-954-5100 to look at available dates.

What happens if it rains on the day of my wedding and I have an outside ceremony?

We will move the nuptials to an inside area, most commonly the Pavilion, and resume the reception in the desired area or Pavilion.

Will more than one wedding be booked on the same day?

No, we book one wedding a day to ensure full access to all the facilities for your wedding.

How long can the ceremony commence is we book it on the Golf Course?

The alotted time for a course nuptial is 30 minutes

How long do we have to remove decor, large gift items, and other personal wedding effecs? 

Chimera Golf course requires you take any decor or personal gifts and items the evening of your wedding.  In the event, there is a large item that needs special transportation we allow 24 hrs to remove it.

If I need to cancel is my deposit refundable?

No, the deposit is non-refundable but is applied to the overall contract bill for the event.

What type of parties does Chimera Golf Club coordinate?

Can I book only a ceremony at Chimera Golf Course?

Yes this is possible, please inquire with our Event Director on the policies and procedures for a ceremony only event.
