8 Reasons People Enjoy Life in Tuscany Village

Tuscany Village is a 526 acre residential master-planned community in Henderson, Nevada. Development of the community began in the early 2000’s. It weathered the Great Recession and is now a thriving community. Here are eight reasons why people enjoy life in Tuscany Village:

8: Location. Tuscany Village is conveniently located in the southwest part of the Las Vegas Valley. It is only twenty minutes from the Las Vegas Strip and McCarran Airport. Tuscany Village is next door to Lake Las Vegas Resort. The Lake Mead Recreational Area is only ten minutes away.

7: Family Friendly. Southern Nevada has many “senior only” communities. These communities can restrict families from enjoying the advantages and amenities of living in an upscale community. There are no age restrictions at Tuscany Village and all families are welcome.

6: Tuscany Park. Next door and within walking distance is Tuscany Park. The park is owned and maintained by the City of Henderson. The park is seven acres, has a multi-use grass field for softball and soccer, lighted tennis courts, a lighted skate park and a tot lot.

5: Views. Tuscany Village has 360 degree views that include Sunrise Mountain, Mount Charleston and the Las Vegas Strip.

4: Italian-themed. Tuscany Village has a warm Italian theme throughout. It is seen in the architecture of the homes, recreation center and guard house. The Mediterranean style landscaping is always lush and well maintained.

3: Security. Tuscany Village is a guard gated community providing security 24 hours a day, seven days a week for its residents.

2: Recreation Center. Tuscany Village has a 35,000 square foot recreation center named La Vita Tuscana. The center has meeting rooms, a full size gym, fitness center, aerobic room, basketball court, racquetball court and a 13,000 square foot pool.

1: Chimera Golf Club: Our favorite reason people enjoy living in Tuscany Village is the Chimera Golf Club located in the heart of the community. The course has a 6906 yard layout. The par 72 championship course was designed by Ted Robinson. It has been a favorite golf course of locals since 2003. Always in excellent condition, it is considered a great value year round. In addition, both golfers and non-golfers enjoy fine meals and beverages at the Chimera Bar & Grill.
