Chimera Golf Club is proud to welcome Ivan D. De La O as their new Executive Chef. Recently, the club was purchased by Tom Burke, CEO/Owner of TCompanies. Since then, the bar and grill have seen many upgrades from the new menu and décor to daily specials.
Chimera Golf Club is proud to welcome Ivan D. De La O as their new Executive Chef. Recently, the club was purchased by Tom Burke, CEO/Owner of TCompanies. Since then, the bar and grill has seen many upgrades from the new menu and décor to daily specials.
Ivan D. De La O has an extensive background in kitchen management with experience in restaurant and catering as an Executive Chef. He also has operated two extremely busy cafes, the Da Vita Café and Museum of Glass Café in Seattle, Washington. Ivan was credited with the design of the elegant menus at both locations. He also prides himself as being a good boss, never asking employees to complete a task that he would not personally do.
Ivan is excited about becoming the Executive Chef for Chimera Golf Club. He has already begun implementing new ideas such as Saturday and Sunday brunches, where guests can enjoy delicious omelets and bottomless mimosas. Be on the lookout for new menu items and specialties. Soon a new pizza oven will be installed and Chimera Golf Club will add fresh homemade pizza to the menu. Nearby residents will also be able to have this wonderful pizza delivered to their homes!
Ivan pledges to continue the new owner’s track record of improvement. His goal is for the Bar and Grill to be the favorite local destination, where people will be comfortable having a great meal, enjoying cold drinks and visiting with their friends. His ultimate goal is to help make Chimera Golf Club one of the best clubs in Southern Nevada.
