Keith “The Outlaw” Josey

Keith Josey “The Outlaw” is the Director of Player Services and Head Teaching Professional here at Chimera Golf Club since 2019.

He was born in Clemson, South Carolina in 1969 to Dorothy and Keith Josey Jr. His passion for the game of golf started at age 5. At 12 years old he started working at Clarendon Golf and Country Club in South Carolina. He had a great junior golf career and became a student of the game.

After his United States Coast Guard enlistment, teaching golf and playing professional events became an unmatched passion.

He has been Director of Golf, General Manager, Head PGA Professional, Head Golf Instructor and Superintendent at courses in Mississippi, South Carolina and Nevada. He has the moniker of “the hardest working man in golf” for over 30 years. His love for people and the desire to teach this great game to others is what sets “The Outlaw” apart!

When you come to Chimera Golf Club, you’ll be greeted by him with a big smile and a couple of tips if he sees you on our beautiful driving range.  He also puts on a show during our Karaoke nights.
