Paul DeSantis

Paul DeSantis’s teaching and coaching experience spans 15 years over which he has worked with players of all levels, ages, and skillsets. Paul loves introducing novices to the game as much as he enjoys fine-tuning techniques of the highly competitive.

Paul DeSantis is Foothill High School’s Men’s Head Golf Coach and was named Southern Nevada’s Golf Coach of the Year. During his time at Foothill, Paul has coached individual state champions as well as regional champions, many of whom have progressed to the collegiate and professional levels. Under Paul’s instruction, Foothill’s golf team won the regional championship in 2013 and finished state runner-up.

As a long-time educator, Paul’s teaching strength lies in recognizing players’ learning styles, then tailoring lessons accordingly. As a result, Paul is creative with learning material, planning engaging events such a spooky glow in the dark swing and the summer splash for young golfers. His beginner group lessons focus on fundamentals and fun, while his competitive golfers’ program is designed to season existing skills and elevate game-time acumen for any serious player.

Additionally, Paul is the founder and owner of Sports Stars LV, an LLC that shapes well-rounded future athletes by introducing youth to a variety of sports. Golf has become one of the prevailing sports of this program, allowing Paul to realize and navigate the different learning needs of all ages and backgrounds on the course.
